The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra builds upon its predecessors to deliver a flagship Android tablet experience that blurs the lines between tablet and laptop, focusing on power, a massive display, and advanced AI-driven productivity features.
Design and Display
The Tab S11 Ultra features an imposing yet incredibly sleek design. Despite housing a colossal 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, the tablet manages to be remarkably thin at just 5.1 mm and relatively light for its size, weighing in around 692 grams. The construction is premium, utilizing an Armor Aluminum frame and backplate, and includes an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The display itself is the star of the show, boasting a 2960×1848 (WQXGA+) resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for ultra-smooth scrolling and fluid animations. With a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits, and an anti-reflection coating, visuals remain vivid and clear even in bright outdoor environments, making it a dream for media consumption and creative work. Biometrics are handled by an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
Software and Performance
Under the hood, the Tab S11 Ultra is a powerhouse, typically featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on a 3nm process. This high-end processor delivers substantial improvements in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance compared to previous generations, ensuring seamless multitasking, demanding application use, and high-end gaming.

The tablet ships with Android 16 and One UI 8, heavily integrating the latest Galaxy AI features. New AI capabilities like Drawing Assist to polish sketches, Writing Assist for text refinement, and Gemini Live for real-time contextual help elevate the productivity suite. Samsung’s DeX mode further transforms the tablet interface into a desktop-like environment, making it a serious contender for laptop replacement. Configurations are generous, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which is also expandable via microSD.
Camera
Tablet cameras are generally functional rather than a main selling point, and the Tab S11 Ultra follows this trend while still providing capable optics. The rear features a dual-camera system: a 13MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Video recording caps out at 4K at 30fps. On the front, there is a 12MP ultra-wide camera, strategically placed for video conferencing.

While not a replacement for a flagship smartphone camera, the system is more than adequate for high-quality video calls, document scanning, and casual photography.
Battery Life
To power its massive display and top-tier components, the Tab S11 Ultra is equipped with an impressive 11,600mAh battery. This capacity, coupled with the efficiency of the 3nm Dimensity 9400+ processor, results in excellent endurance, often lasting over ten hours of mixed usage like browsing or gaming. Charging is supported by 45W wired fast charging, allowing the huge battery to be refilled in a relatively short time, typically around an hour and a half for a full charge.
Connectivity
Connectivity is modern and robust, offering both Wi-Fi and 5G cellular options. The Wi-Fi version supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, providing extremely fast and stable wireless connections. For mobile connections, the 5G variants support both Sub-6 bands. It includes Bluetooth 5.4 for connecting accessories. Physical connections are handled via a USB Type-C 3.2 port, which supports video output for external displays.

The tablet comes standard with the redesigned S Pen stylus, which offers a natural and responsive writing and drawing experience and attaches magnetically for charging.
