The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus is the larger of Samsung’s ‘Fan Edition’ tablets for 2025, positioning itself as a feature-rich mid-range option with a focus on an expansive display and robust build quality. It provides a solid balance of premium features, like an included S Pen and excellent durability, without the flagship price tag of the main S10 series.

Design and Display
The Tab S10 FE Plus features a premium design with an aluminum frame and back, giving it a sturdy and sleek feel. At just 6.0mm thick and weighing around 664g to 668g, it strikes a good balance for such a large device. A standout feature is the IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a rarity in the tablet world and a major plus for durability. The device also includes S Pen support, with the stylus included in the box.

The display is the tablet’s biggest selling point, sporting a massive 13.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a sharp 2880 x 1800 resolution and a productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio. This screen is one of the largest on a mid-range tablet, making it excellent for content consumption, drawing, and split-screen multitasking. It features a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and an 800-nit peak brightness with Vision Booster, which helps with outdoor visibility—though an LCD panel won’t offer the deep blacks and contrast of the AMOLED screens found on the non-FE S10 models.
Camera
In line with most tablets, the camera system on the Tab S10 FE Plus is serviceable rather than a major focus. It includes a single 13MP rear camera and a 12MP ultra-wide front-facing camera.

The rear camera is fine for scanning documents, quick snaps, and augmented reality (AR) applications. The upgraded 12MP front camera is well-suited for high-quality video conferencing and self-portraits, which is arguably more important for a tablet of this size.
Software and Performance
The tablet launches with Android 15 running Samsung’s custom overlay, One UI 7. A major draw is Samsung’s commitment to long-term software support, promising up to seven years of security updates and Android OS upgrades (up to Android 22) for the FE series, a policy matching their flagship devices.

Powering the tablet is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1580 chipset. This mid-range processor provides smooth performance for everyday tasks, multitasking, and casual gaming. However, while it is a significant step up from the previous generation’s chip, benchmark tests show it still trails the powerful flagship chips found in premium competitors, meaning it will struggle with the most graphically intensive games at max settings. It comes in configurations with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The tablet also incorporates new Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search with Google and AI-driven enhancements for note-taking.
Battery Life
The Tab S10 FE Plus is equipped with a large 10,090 mAh battery. Despite the larger screen, the battery life is excellent, with tests showing it can deliver nearly 20 hours of video playback or over seven and a half hours of continuous heavy use.
It supports 45W wired fast charging, allowing the large battery to be topped up relatively quickly, though you’ll need to purchase a compatible charger separately as one is not included in the box.
Connectivity
Connectivity options are modern and complete. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 for fast wireless internet and Bluetooth v5.3 for peripherals. Depending on the model, it is also available in a 5G variant for cellular data access, which includes support for both a physical Nano-SIM and an eSIM. Physical ports include a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, though it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. The included S Pen, a key part of the tablet’s functionality, is passively powered (no Bluetooth features).
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus succeeds by offering a gigantic, high-resolution screen and a durable, premium build with an IP68 rating, making it a compelling choice for media consumption and productivity users who want the benefits of a large display and an included S Pen without the top-tier price.
